At Healing Horses, Kauai We Strongly Believe in Community Supporting Community
Healing Horses, Kauai has opened its doors to school aged children as a part of their school day. The students are exposed to purposeful Experiential Learning of horsemanship and herd dynamics.
HHK’s program for homeschoolers has been specially designed by Sandy Webster, a Master Instructor with experience incorporating Core Values into Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).
The program is comprised of riding lessons and horsemanship including leading, grooming, tacking, herd dynamics, animal care, nurturing, socializing, problem solving, and core values that impact everyday life.
The core values such as empathy, respect, persistence, team work, trust, communication and awareness will be experienced and felt by all participants in caring and working together with the horses.

Schedule for Homeschool groups:
8:30am–10:30am Riding + Horsemanship + Core Values
Includes: equine management responsibilities and health checks
(Teaching responsibility, vital signs, caring for another being)
10:30am–12:30pm Riding + Horsemanship + Core Values
Includes: feeding and equine management responsibilities
(Teaching responsibility, quantities, caring for another being)
Winter session part 1: January 19 to Feb. 9, 2017 (4 weeks) $180/student
Winter session part 2: February 16 to March 16, 2017 (4 weeks) $180/student
Spring 9 week session: March 30 to May 25, 2017 $280/student (group rate 4-6 students)
($125 savings per student: lower group rate of $35/week and 1 bonus week)
